BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
This qualification applies to individuals working in a work health and safety (WHS) role who provide a broad range of technical knowledge and skills, and have some limited responsibility for the output of others.
The qualification applies to those working as supervisors, WHS personnel, and workers in other WHS-related roles who manage risks effectively, apply relevant WHS laws, and contribute to WHS within the workplace in known or changing contexts with established parameters.
The BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) by TRAINING WORX is designed to equip individuals, including those without prior WHS experience, with the skills needed for roles such as supervisors, HSE Advisors and all workers in WHS-related capacities.
Delivery methods are diverse, with options for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for those with WHS experience . Should a learner possess substantial relevant prior experience, they may be eligible to bypass the training and proceed directly to the assessment process (RPL or assessment only) for some or all units, thereby reducing the training required.
The course can be tailored for individuals operating in a work health and safety (WHS) capacity currently or in a previous role. Likewise, if the learner has previously completed certain units of competency needed for the qualification at another RTO, only a portion of the qualification would need to be undertaken, which would decrease the amount of training.
Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisites for this qualification. However, access to a computer is necessary for completing assignments and conducting internet-based research.
